Sikandar Raza (Zimbabwe Captain): [On another close victory] Yeah, credit to Namibia for making a very good game. Credit to Namibia batters, how they came out and tried to win the game as well. So, we take nothing away from them, but I thought we were very poor in the end. [On what stood out about Zimbabwe’s performance] I thought how we closed out. I thought in batting, if you divide the game into four parts, I thought our three parts worked really well. It's only the 7 to 10 over where we really struggled, didn't score runs, lost a lot of wickets. But I thought how Brad and Marumani and Burly sort of batted together as well to get us to that total as well, and that wicket was certainly a great effort. So that's three boxes ticks out of four, so that's nice. In bowling up front, I thought the first part and overs 11 to 14 were okay, but apart from that I thought we really need to get better. [On Zimbabwe’s approach for the remainder of the T20 tri-series] Try and win every game that comes our way. Try and be as good as we can be. I know a lot of emphasis is put on victories and losses, but for me what matters is how good we were on the day. And the opposition overpowers you with the quality they have, then so be it. Having said that, I'm really grateful that we won the game today, but I don't think that we were that good.
Gerhard Erasmus (Namibia captain): Those two guys (Zane Green and Alexander Volschenk) really got us close in the end. Obviously through sort of the 12-over mark of our innings, we were right out of the game, and they nearly pulled off something special and showed us that if you're there in sort of the latter overs, it's a really nice six-hitting ground. That's what this Zimbabwean batters also showed us, is that those last couple of overs, quite tough to defend on a quick outfield and a smallish straight boundary. So all in all, a great game of cricket, and that's awesome for us as a hosting nation. The guys want to see very good cricket and lots of runs on what was a good deck. So all in all, I still think that there's lots of positives for us to take out of the game. Some special spells, Max Heingo comes to mind for us with the bowling, and then obviously there at the back end, those two players nearly pulling off something special. [On Alexander Volschenk] Yeah, that's the kind of innings that sort of I think sometimes goes with you a long time through your career. He's done it through the year for us, albeit in different competition, but today against really good opposition he's really shown his talent and his sort of temperament, I must say. And yeah, that's awesome for us. Green has been instrumental in back-ends of games for us in many a games over the last two years. And yeah, being that senior member of the side and as our wicketkeeper-batsman, he's really solidified himself as a dangerous finisher with all sorts of skills that he has. And he showed that again today, scoring in very different areas of the field and really putting their field setting and sort of tactical side under pressure and really opening up the game for us.
Brad Evans (Player of the Match, 67 runs with the bat and 3/41 with the ball): [On taking his first Player of the Match award in international cricket] Yeah, pretty good. The man standing over there has stolen a few from me, but it's good to get over the line and secure a good win. [On the pressure of bowling the final over] I enjoy those moments. I had a simple plan and just tried to execute it, and luckily it paid off here. [On his 94-run partnership with Ryan Burl] Yeah, it's something that I've been working on really hard, and it's come on leaps and bounds in the last six months or so. I'm really proud of my progress with the bat, and I just want to keep contributing in every area.

Step forward, Brad Evans, with 16 needed off the last over, he delivered under maximum pressure to take Zimbabwe over the line! That said, Zimbabwe will know they got away with one here. A brilliant 100-run partnership between Green and Volschenk flipped the game on its head, with Green's inventive boundary-hitting causing chaos in the field.
